New to Chicago’s Restaurant Scene!

We are all constantly on the lookout for new and interesting restaurants in our city. Lucky for all you Chicagoans, this season has been a big month for restaurant openings and we have five newly opened establishments that you need to try.

Goose and Fox
An underground restaurant below a furniture warehouse! This unique dining experience features a handwritten menu with six to ten options that are constantly changing. Goose and Fox is only open select days out of the month and can only accommodate 8-20 diners at once, so be sure to RSVP early on Facebook or via email.

Billy Sunday
A tavern with an old timey feel and a menu that features such things as braised duck and crispy pigs ears. An adventurous eater is sure to love this place!

Ay Chiwowa
A late night cantina, this restaurant has three separate chambers (a bar, a back lounge with a patio, and the skull room which has a DJ booth), graffiti on the walls, and is open until 4 or 5 a.m. depending on the day.

Tanuki
Don’t let this newly opened Chicago sushi joint fool you!  This is no ordinary sushi. Tanuki features such things as Asian escargot, a coconut and green tea powder twist on the traditional shrimp tempura, and Dragon Pearl for dessert. They even have a mascot – a raccoon dog (the English translation of Tanuki).

Red Square
A Russian bathhouse and bar. This incredibly unique experience allows you to relax with a massage, take a dip in the jacuzzi pool, and go to the sauna. After all of that, head to the bar or dining room which replicates a 19th century Ukrainian train.

Break away from the usual this Spring try all of these new amazing additions to Chicago’s restaurant scene!
